 Dear MTNT Shareholders and community of McGrath:

In accordance with “State of Alaska March 23 COVID-19 Health Mandate 009,” the MTNT and McGrath Light & Power office is closed to the public until further notice.

Please make your payment by check or money order in the drop box or call the office at (907) 524-3009 to pay by debit/credit card. If you need to make payment arrangements, please contact ML&P by phone.

The “State of Alaska March 23 COVID-19 Health Mandate 009: Personal Care Services & Gatherings Statewide” public notice, given the increasing concern for new cases of COVID-19 around Alaska, Governor Dunleavy and the State of Alaska are issuing the following mandate to go into effect Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at 5 p.m. AKT:

Mandate 9.1 – State of Alaska – Personal Care Services and Gatherings

  1. All businesses, congregations, or gatherings in the State of Alaska, where individuals are within six feet of each other must stop all operations.
  2. Additionally, no gatherings of more than 10 people may take place, and if a gathering does take place people must be six feet apart from each other.

While MTNT’s operations continue, MTNT is carefully monitoring the spread of COVID-19 and observing the advice and directives of the State of Alaska and the White House.  We encourage you to so the same.

As a reminder, if you have concerns about COVID-19, we encourage you to call 2-1-1. They have licensed medical professionals who are volunteering and lending their health care expertise during this effort. For Alaskans who live in areas where 2-1-1 can’t be accessed, please call 800-478-2221. If you are sick and feel you should be seen, call your provider for an appointment.
